Here's one of the most important rock bands of today. Unfortunately, not too many people have caught on yet.

They stick to the basics & sound rather rootsy and southern. Jack White (from the White Stripes) is the lead singer & rhythm guitarist. The studio version of "Level" is completely awesome too!

My Backyard........

I want to build one of these in my back yard when I finally buy a house. You're all invited.

Oh, and there will be a bocce court & horseshoe pits with plenty of seating. I'd also like a wooden target so I can practice throwing axes....that always sounded like fun to me.

Here's a link to a band that I've been listening to lately. They sound a bit Irish & rootsy, but still have a driving quality like U2. One of my friends likened them to Pink Floyd (around the Atom Heart Mother days...does that make any sense to you?). Anyway, this is a great performance of this song called "Keep the Car Running".

Bonus this week since I've been gone so long. Here is one of my absolutely favorite Mad TV sketches by Will Sasso. (What is it with awesome comedians named Will? Sasso, Ferrell & Forte) He plays Elvis here. Wait until he starts talking about flan cake. I must have said "flan cake" a hundred times to myself in the past week.

My Contortionist Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so you have to start a youtube account to upload a video. So I obviously have one since I uploaded my sweet "Contortionist Farts" video.

You have a mail inbox if you have an account. I've never messaged or received mail from it until yesterday...

Comedian, Dave Attell's assistant mailed me to ask if the contortionist was real! She's looking for talent to appear on the new Gong Show on Comedy Central! She left her phone number, so I called it. Voicemail, but she immediately called back. I told her that it was manufactured & that I love practicing comedy. She gave me her personal e-mail & told me to contact her if I ever have anything that would interest her for the show or for Comedy Central in general. I mailed her & told her thanks. She mailed back quickly & told me to send her something soon.

So....can anyone do anything that would be great for a new gong show?????? She said that they were looking for animal tricks too.
