So many of you know that I can sniff out a great deal. Check out these coasters that I had made from a vendor on EBAY.COM.

This is me at the NFL Experience when the super bowl was in Tampa. I'm standing on two pegs behind a Colts mannequin. I had 4 of these made for $7! Free Shipping!

Here's 4 of my good friend Gregg drinking a can of beer. You can do circles or squares (with rounded edges). Again these 4 were $7 with free shipping! He even put text there for free.

Great Christmas idea for your family and friends!

Update.........

Mkay, so I've been way busy with my new job. I really like the work & get to really make a difference. I'm proud to say that my boss (Dr. Rose) appointed me to be south Tampa marketing manager for Rose Radiology. It's good to be noticed....

Otherwise, I've been trying to stay cool in the south FL summer. It's almost over! It's especially hot in a shirt & tie, but the company car has great AC.

Speaking of the company car, it has GPS. My managers know where I am at all times and how fast I'm going. My second week on the job, I was driving out head tech to Bradenton from Tampa. On my way back, I was going pretty fast. Apparently, the GPS service automatically generates a text message to Dr. Rose and management every time a company car goes over 12mph........they all received 8 of them within about 30 min. I didn't get in trouble, just had a good talk with management. Oops. I like to go fast.

So maybe some of you are familiar with my DW green sparkle drum set. DW is top of the line percussion, made in USA. I've played the set for the past 10 years or so. Recently, I played a Gretsch Renown series set in Guitar Center....completely blew me away. So I saved & bought one for only $700 on ebay, with cases (worth $100). I love it! I held on to the DW for a few weeks while I completely fell in love with my Gretsch kit. Then I sold the DW on ebay for $1,550! Nice little profit. Consequently, I have been slipping even deeper into my ebay addiction with all of this profit available in paypal. Relax, I moved $1,000 into savings. Here is a photo of my Gretsch, Cherry Burst color:

I took this self-portrait when I had some flowers in my kitchen. It was just a quick little random shot that ended up really cool. I love the composition of this shot.

So I re-worked it on photoshop:

Rose Radiology................

So all of the hard work is paying off. I just accepted a job with Rose Radiology! Always admired the company & wanted to work here. http://www.roseradiology.com/

So, we offer Ultrasound, MRI, CT, PET-CT, nuclear medicine and X-Ray. Allison, you know what I'm talking about. We have the 3T (3 tesla strength) MRI, the strongest allowed. Also stand-up MRI. Blah-Blah....we have the best technology available....unlike our local competition.

We have 8 centers and opening more. Such a great company & a field that I've always liked.

I've been studying with management & Radiologists. They said that I have the best clinical training out of all of the marketing reps so far! I learned how all of the images are produced, how to read them & then which doctors need which modalities.

Now, I've been communicating with doctors regarding their patients' diagnoses. Really, primary care doctors come to us for diagnosis. That's so cool! Been tested by a few doctors so far and handled it well.

By the way, we are the official imaging resource of the Tampa Bay Lightning....stanley cup champs. Our image is on the ice AND I have a lot of good tickets to give to my top referring doctors!

Job

So I found a good job with salary + commission and benes! World Wide Medical Services http://www.wwmsi.com/. I'll be marketing "tens units" to chiropractors, orthopedic specialists, therapists, etc. They're portable units that send an electrical shock to alleviate pain. Here's the skinny.

Saw an ad on craigslist looking for DME Reps (that's me!). The ad instructed us to fax the resume, but I noticed the company name in fine print at the bottom. I googled it, found the address, printed a resume, typed a letter and put it all in a folder. When I got there, I realized that it had moved, so I called the office. The woman answered and actually put me through to the owner/manager who was hiring for the position. He gave me the new address and I scored an interview right then and there!

The interview went well, and so did the other two! My new boss decided to hire me even though there was someone that was already selling these units for a different company. Apparently, I was the only one who cold called him for this job and he liked my skills.

My start date is two days after I get back from my vacation out west at the end of this month....which is awesome.

I feel lucky......

www.rejectionhotline.com

Have you ever given out a fake number? Go to this website and find your local rejection hotiline number! Give him that number. There's one for every area code!

Here's the plan: Just save it in your cell phone, like as the letter "a" or something (so you can easily find it). Then whip out your phone and tell the guy that you just got your new phone number and can't remember it or something. Look up the letter "a" and give him this number. http://www.rejectionhotline.com/

Report back to me if you ever use this. I have it saved as the letter "a" in my phone for easy access.

This Band.........

So I've been listening to this band lately. They're called The Darkness. Right, it sounds pretty heavy, but they're not. It's like a modern glam rock and it's completely AWESOME and FUN! The first song is called "Girlfriend". Check his HIGH voice.

You may have heard this second song. It was on the radio a couple of years ago. It's called "I Believe in a Thing Called Love". These videos are out of control and I love it!

Lately.......

So there has been some big cuts in medicare lately. They're directly affecting OUC Medical. My pay has been drastically cut.

No worries though. I still have a job, but I've been interviewing too.

Just accepted a job with Navesys http://navesys.com/ . It's a medical transcription service. That's those little hand-held units that helps doctors dictate their notes. Once they put the unit in the charging dock, it automatically sends the audio files to our call center. We give them a hard copy within 24 hours. I start next week.

I will be working for OUC Medical with my small salary and working commission only for Navesys. Once I start selling the contracts through Navesys, I keep making a monthly commission on the offices still signed up. Ideally, my paycheck will just keep going up.

BUT hold the phones. I was just offered an interview with Everett Pharmaceuticals. www.everettlabs.com . I have an interview on Monday in Lakeland at some fancy hotel. Apparently, this interview lasts from noon to 5pm! WHOA! Wish me luck becuase this is a GREAT job. Buying a new suit this weekend.

I'll keep you all posted if you're curious.

Norm MacDonald at Side Splitters.............

Went to go see one of my favorite comedians last weekend. Norm MacDonald. He was on SNL for a while. Was the weekend update host during the OJ scandal days. Been in a lot of movies too. I liked him in Billy Madison.

Got to meet him. Talked to him about how I liked him as "Turd Ferguson" on SNL....that was him playing Burt Reynolds. He's the best Burt Reynolds by far!!!!! Also told him that I loved his set on the Bob Saget Roast. Look that up on youtube if you're interested.

Here's a quick cell phone photo!

TALKING HEADS - This Must be the Place (Naive Melody)

Home is where I want to be

Pick me up and turn me round

I feel numb - born with a weak heart

I guess I must be having fun

The less we say about it the better

Make it up as we go along

Feet on the ground

Head in the sky

It's ok I know nothing's wrong . . nothing

Hi yo I got plenty of time

Hi yo you got light in your eyes

And you're standing here beside me

I love the passing of time

Never for money

Always for love

Cover up and say goodnight . . . say goodnight

Home - is where I want to be

But I guess I'm already there

I come home - she lifted up her wings

Guess that this must be the place

I can't tell one from another

Did I find you, or you find me?

There was a time

Before we were born

If someone asks, this is where I'll be . . . where I'll be

Hi yo We drift in and out

Hi yo sing into my mouth

Out of all those kinds of people

You got a face with a view

I'm just an animal looking for a home

Share the same space for a minute or two

And you love me till my heart stops

Love me till I'm dead

Eyes that light up, eyes look through you

Cover up the blank spots

Hit me on the head Ah ooh

NFL Experience................

The Super Bowl is inTampa this year. Actually, it's in my neighborhood! This town is all Super Bowled out...everywhere. I'm sure all of the fans will be showing up this week & everything is going to be packed.

Anyway, I went to the stadium today go to "The NFL Experience" today with some friends. There were many skills games to play & a handfull of (Bucs) players signing autographs.

That was all ok, but there were huge lines of people waiting to participate in all of the football drills. Some drills let you push the blocking sleds or waiting to run through obsticle courses. I had enough of those drills at Northwestern, so I didn't wait in line for that.

There was a lot of merchandise for sale there too. $90 for a jersey!

Basically, it would have been a lot of fun if I were 20 years younger. The coolest part of the "Experience" was that I got to take some photos with this colts character. Also, I got to see the Lombardi Trophy. That was cool. Here are some photos for you to laugh at.......

New Purchase.........

I felt compelled to write a rave review about these sweet pans that I bought.

GREENPAN.

They're non-stick pans that can be heated up to 850 degrees! Most non-stick pans won't go anywhere near that high. They patented some metal called "thermolon" so there are no metallic chips to flake off & get into your food. For instance, you can sear a beef tenderloin on all sides at a high heat & then throw the whole pan in the oven to roast.

These are perfect for me because I cook my meats at a HIGH temperature. I cooked a huge dinner with them & they were completely easy to clean.

The photo is similar to the set I bought for a total of $75 on ebay!
9.5" pan

12" pan

11" square griddle pan
