I called her up for the photos & we started talking. She needed a band to record for her big studio project, so she asked us! (By the way, studio time is hundreds of dollars per hour.) We just went into the studio Monday night and recorded most of our first single. We're finishing it up on this coming Monday! Hopefully, I will have a clean CD single to bring home in a couple of weeks!!!!!!!
Gotta say that it was dang hard too. I had to play this long and complicated song to a metronome click. There is very little room for error there. If you mess up just a little, everyone notices.
Also, I woke up the next morning to a phone call from our lead singer. He said that the Tampa Bay Times newspaper wanted to meet us for an interview ASAP. We just did it last night & it's going in the next paper in a couple of days!
Here's the funny thing about that. They requested a photo by noon today. So we just all went to my house last night and shot a bunch of photos. I'm including the best one from shooting last night. It's not too special, but it will work. Actually, it's pretty funny to think that this photo will be in the paper this week! LOL!
Coming home for Memorial Day!!!!!!
