Sorry it's been so long.
Those chicken pot pies that I was refering to were Marie Callender's. GREAT! Sarah......oh Sarah......they are SO MUCH BETTER in the OVEN! It takes a lot of time though & I know you're busy, but MAN, they're good that way.
The bowling team finished in second place, so we each took home $75. I was fine with that, but one guy on our team of four was royally pissed. He got way too much into it.
My team consisted of two girls & two guys. Meghann is one of my old friends. Erin one of her friends & JC is the psycho bowler.
JC completely gets into it, right. He has the metal/cloth, wrist support thing....not to mention his ball/bag/shoe combo. JC will give you a high five when he has a good roll, but when he has a spare or worse, he won't do that. We have to resort to the fist pound instead. He never failed. I went in for a five when he picked up a spare, but I just got a fist in my palm. Also, yes, he will five me when I throw up a fist pound after a his strike.
Meghann & JC actually started to date during this summer of bowling. I don't really hang out with Meghann much now because of him. His nerves completely got to him in the championship when I was across the table swilling brew. That sort of competitive attitude ruins the whole thing for me. By the way, I bowled about 20 pins over my average....while RELAXING and swilling brews.
I'm glad it's over.
Now, I'm back into the groove after my amazing vacation. It was great. I believe that I've updated most of you on that. Burning Man was crazy & I'm not quite sure if I'm going again. The whole thing was like being in a Mad Max movie.
Just bought a djembe drum today! The djembe drum is an hourglass-shaped drum. These are the most versitile-sounding hand drums out there. You can hit the rim & get a high pitch. But when you hit it in the middle, you get a deep tone. It's 14" wide, so she's pretty big. It takes up too much room in my shoebox/apartment, but we'll make room for her. Anyone got any names for her? EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A HAND DRUM. You can beat the crap out of it.
Love y'all....if you're in my family.....but I guess I love everyone else reading too.....I mean even if you're a stranger.

Cool about the drum.
Hey, you should tape yourself doing things and put them on Youtube and then into your blog from there. That would be fun!
Off to make Craig's lunch-ham samich, chips and apple...sometimes I'm glad I'm not there when he opens his lunch. (HAM AGAIN!?)
Click on my name..it should take you to both of my blogs.
It has an hourglass-shaped and you can beat the crap out of it. . . .
I'll have to think about a name.
Found you really good names.
1919 Varga Girl’s were hourglass-shaped: Billy Burke, Nita Naldi,
Marilyn Miller, Paulette Goddard, Ruth Etting, Eddie Cantor, &
Anna Mae Ciift who became his wife
1927 Shirley Vernon
1941 Betty Grable, Jane Russell, Ann Sheridan, Ava Gardner,
Linda Darnell, Marlene Dietrich, Loretta Young, and Marilyn Monroe,
just to name a few.
I myself like Ann Mae. The actresses could take a beatin' in the movies.
Thanks, Rosie!
Are there any famous drummers with a cool last name that you idolize?
Rosie's ideas are cool! I like Burke and Grable - but then again, Darnell would be too stinkin funny!
Maybe the name "Peart" or "Trucks" after a couple of great drummers. Those are the funniest that I can come up with on the fly.
drums are awesome!
